Frequently Asked Questions

Can you help me with pre-existing plans?

Absolutely. We have worked with many organisations and businesses around Northland and can help fulfil your plans, weather they have been done by a landscape architect, ecologist, or the council.

Prices are calculated on a per-tree basis, allowing for cost-effective project management without delays. Pre-planning projects 1 year or more in advance allows us to give you the very best price. The more notice you give us, the better price we can offer on trees. Larger plants are more expensive but help meet council requirements and achieve outcomes faster. We also consider the size of the project, bigger project = more plants = less cost per tree.

For farmers and landowners, we’ll work within your budget to plan your planting over several years. Starting with a basic plan, we’ll evolve it over time to fit your land and financial considerations, pricing on a per-tree basis. We prefer to do an onsite consultation to get an accurate price per tree as ground conditions and accessibility contribute to price.

The timeline depends on the project size, and we can organise the team to get the job done. We’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule, but there are optimal planting times throughout the year (May-September). We plant in all weather conditions (within reason).

Site preparation and ongoing maintenance, including spraying, may be necessary. You can read more about this here or get in touch. We can help you start to finish to achieve the best possible results.

While we recommend seeking specialist advice on carbon credits, we can meet any native planting requirements you may have.

Please get in touch. Feel free to send us your plans, information about the land area, and ideas. From there we organise an on-site quote/consultation and once your deposit is paid, we’ll book in your planting project for its agreed upon dates.
