If not specified on your greenspace plans, we focus on pioneer species that are small and cost-effective, helping to establish canopy cover while thriving in tough conditions. Our native options include, but are not limited to Manuka, Kanuka, Cabbage Trees, Flaxes and native Sedges. Read more here.

We do most of our planting from May-September. This is because the autumn and winter months provide the most natural rainfall allowing for each plant to establish themselves before summer.

We recommend spraying before planting begins. This will make your maintenance more effective in the future and give your natives the best chance to grow.

We recommend a release spray as needed. Our selective sprays are residual for up to 6 months. We commonly do 1-3 release sprays after a project has been planted.

With our recommended spacing, we expect to establish canopy cover within 3-5 years.
